i know i know..it has been forever..and YES the subtle hints FINALLY worked..i am updating my blog....hmmmmmmmm..so what has been going on?! well, my summer is ovAHHHHHH ...it was so awesome...getting to be a SAHM...so much FUN! Exciting stuff happened though.............

when i saw this new kit by krystal available FREE at http://www.faithsisters.com with a $10 purchase (yummy stuff..won't be hard...) i thought of my cute little americana kitchen that i had when hunter was little...the cute curtains (that kevin hated...but i loved...) it was such a cute little kitchen...yes, if you are wondering..this is when my best friend staple gunned the wall paper on b/c kevin said no wallpaper glue..ahhh..good times...it looked CUTE though..and i puddied the holes before i did my last decorating disaster...anyways...back on topic......i LOVE the colors in this kit...because it reminds me of that sweet little toddler strolling around in my kitchen and taking all my cookbooks out of the cabinet...oh..she was so sweet...so I had to use a precious baby picture of her in this layout... I called it WONDER...hope you like...

well, my girl Krystal Hartley has been servin us up some DELECTABLE goodiez....here is my spin on her latest and greatest...it is AWESOME! You can catch her designs at www.polkadotpotato.com or www.faithsisters.com she ROCKS...this kit is TOTALLY fab and matches my kitchen to a TEE.............therefore..i present to you ..my HYBRID cookbook and matching recipe cards...

and the W is a sweet shoppe challenge that is an off the page challenge...alter a letter...oh my gosh..i JUMPED on this one..super fast..it was kevin's father's day present he LOVED it... I used (are ya ready for this one...) Inspired by Ashli by Krystal Hartley..(haha..not kidding) and then tons of bling, glitter, my favorite little starbucks hand thingys (not sure WHAT they are called.but they ROCK) and a little bita ribbon...fun, huh..i thought it turned out pretty sweet...

the card...i made these little notecards with my little Inspired by Ashli kit..and a few lifetimez goodiez...the saying was our theme from our AWESOME ACTS retreat

let's see..what else...OH YEAH....that's it...I have been reeking hybrid HAVOK on my house...before i go back to school...EVERYTHING will be altered... mwahhhahahaha...

summer lovin'

ok.....just a quick post...not an epistle like i am GOOD at writing...life is crazy...I have no time to do anything...and i am not even working..how is THAT possible!?! This summer i am focusing on cleaning...that is not a fun task..but hey...it does tend to pass the time better......i am also watching one of my ACTS sistas little boy this summer...he is 8 and a total sweetie! LOVE HIM! Let's see..what else...tutoring in the morning...planning for the next school year already..love that...and spending LOTS of family time together at our friends house...in their backyard oasis...it is beautiful! It is our Friday thing...a couple of families including ours journey over to Club Herr..and soak in the sun...eat, drink and be VERY HAPPY! Here is a layout that i did for our last trip...that's it..sorry..but i am TIRED..late night last night...we had a FLOOD PARTY...yes, my neighborhood survived the June 18, 2007 floods..they have rebuilt..(some from the ground back up) and we partied in the streets that were once covered with water...were last night covered with overflowing friendship and an awesome neighborly spirit..i LOVE this neighborhood...can't we just build on kevin?!

the girl LOVES watermelon...i think that she ate the majority of it..and devoured the leftovers!

so i have been a little on the absent side...refocusing i guess you could say...

last month of school was just pretty intense....We lost our dearly beloved pastor and friend, Father Pat...i LOVED that man..had such an amazing bond with him..and miss and think of him EVERYDAY!

I went to the ACTS retreat this past month...oh my gosh...one WORD...auuuuuuuuhmaZiNg! I can't tell you how much it has meant in my life to attend something so wonderful and as a bonus..i got myslef 80 new sisters.......they are JUSt awEsOmE!

Graduated Miss Hunt from Kindergarten....cried....had to send her up the aisle at the beginning of the ceremony and about didn't let go...yep..i was a bawl bag...had to give a little introduction to our song that our k3, k4 and kinder kids sang..and almost cried during that too...had to PULL IT TOGETHER though... miss my k3 kids ALreaDy!!! Made some cute books for them TOO..oh..i HAVE to post those...note to self...

Miss Sadie Marie was born on the 15th..beautiFuL niece of mine..check out www. raizinkane.blogspot.com for more pictures..they are soo sweet...

My sweet neighbor lady has a little pool that she loves to float around in and my kids are always asking..can we go to MiMi's house and swim...and the answer of course is ALWAYS no...like she wants my little dolls in her pool splashing all the water out..anywHo...she BOUGHT my kids a pool of their very own...and the pictures tell the story..they are having the TIME of their lives with that thing...so thanks MIMI for the awesome gift...my kids TOtaLLy LovE it!

i also took some prom pictures for my cousin and his friends..check em' out..they are on the raizinkane site...pretty sweet...(note to self..must add link.)

ok, well, nothing to terribly exciting...there has been a TON more going on..but oh my gosh.i would be here ALL NIGHT if i listed it all...loving summer vacay...loving that teacher joB!

prom pics..that's right you heard me.. so...i took some pics for my cousin's graduation invitations and they turned out really cute..so he asked me to come out and take some pics of he and his date and his friends..they were so preciOuS..i loved doing it..what FuN and they all looked amazing...i know that they had a BlaSt...ahhh..prom memories...so long ago..but i remember that smokin' hot turquoise/blue/silver number...cute...and wasn't i such a skinny mini..two kids and many moons later...here we are to 2008...so enJoy..this is just a teaser..mostly all of the pics are in need of some editing....so here they are...

this is something awesome that i was asked to make for a girlfriend of mine..now imagine this baby blown up into POSTER size in a big frame with a black mat...yuM! it is pretty awesome..i was totally HAPPY with the finished product...lots of pictures on there..the look on mommas face when she picked it up was PRICELESS! yeah...

ok...i have a confession...i am TOTALLY addicted to this crazy digital scrapbooking....BUT i have NO TIME to do it for myself....so that is why i am doing the couNtDoWn to the end of school......i am going to do nothing but digi scrapbook ALL summer long..that's right girls...i am going to slap some sunscreen on the kids and lock them outside in the backyard all day long...throwing them an occasional hot dog or "gorrilla cheese" (as kane calls them...) and a glass of water that they can split..kidding...no..i won't lock them out..but there will be rules...mommy can't be bothered while on computer rule....you know that one girls...right!

ok..but seriously...calm down and cease calling cps on me..but i am going to do some serious scrappin..and i am SOOO pumped up about it..seein that I have about 10 tons of stuff left from the store..i can either burn it :) or do something with it...so I am thinking HYBRID projects a plenty!

speaking of HYBRID..HELLO..you should have SEEN the calendars that i made for my preschool mommas today for marvelous moms at school....so SWEET...but OH THE DRAMA leading up to getting them printed...ok..so are y'all ready for an ashli wolf story...well, here goes. (what would my blog BE without one?!)

so...............i got these hot little calendar covers in a download that i totally LOVE...can't remember where..but i will think on it :) so anywho.....I took some SUPER precious fat face pictures of my preschoolers oh my GOSH..they were So cute...and i spent tons of time making these (ok..that was a stretch because it as a template :) so i made these CUTE calendar covers and was like HOLY cow this is going to take 4ev to attach and send to MY GIRL KATIE at Staples..(love how we are GIRLZ...i see her more than i see my kids some week) so i was like, well, what about a 4shared account...so i did it..downloaded them all (took a while) and sent them to STAPLES at 12:49am on Tuesday morning...ONLY to find out that staples couldn't open the webpage...UGH....so i had to copy them all off of the 4shared account...onto my computer at school (SHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH) and then send them BACK as an attachment..took forev... anyways..she got em....printed one..it was the wrong size..no prob..we will print them a different size..so while they are printing i will jet off to get a frame for something ELSE that i made... and to pick up the pocket calendars...so i run to michaels..super fast...because of COURSE they will have the 16 pocket calendars that i am needing RIGHT?! wrong..they are "seASoNAL items" ugh...it wasn't nice the thoughts that were racing through my head...but i actually just started LAUGHING...hysterically...WHO ELSE would this happen to...my calendar covers are PRINTING and i have NO calendars....WHY ARE THESE SEASONAL ITEMS>..like WHAAT season would that be..because TO MY KNOWLEDGE...summer, spring, winter AND remarkably ENOUGH fall are all represented in the calendar correct me if i am wrong...but those are the seasons.......right...so they aren't seasonal....the woman was a total haggatha...i tend to gravitate to those people to..shedding positiveness and happiness onto someone WHO doesn't want it at all..i share my woes wiht her..laughing all the while...and guess what...she tells me my total and shoos me out the door...class! from there..i went and totally WIPED out target of the only 10 that they had..and then i went to the denton walmart...i found a TReAsUre TrOve of them...EUREKA right....i grabbed up a handful of them and off i went to checkout.......only to hear the nice checker lady say...um..maim, would you really like to buy these...i am like UH YYYYYYYYYYYES!!! i have to have them....and seh is like, well maim (gotta love that...)) these are academic calendars and they are from 2007-2008 and they end on AUGUST 08.............omg..if i would have bought those..i would have been TOTALLY messed up! so i race back, grab up some more with the RIGHT date and am outtie...go back to staples..and they are n't all done...ahh..but it is OK...so me and the staples family kicked it until 9 together...it was fabulous! all was well, got the calendar covers all fixed up..aside from the one for a little girl in my class...hers was printed off mirrored so instead of saying I love you, mom...it said mom, uoy evol I NICE, huh! not sure HOW that happened...corruptness in the file i guess..who kNoWs! so i will post pics later tatersss.xoxo.ash

this is my great grandma's house...it was just moved from its original spot about a mile away...someone is going to renovate it..we can't wait to see how it turns out..they are a neat bunch of folks...and i know that they will make it look fabulous! oh and a disclaimer (lol krystal) my family DID NOT paint it that color.........no way..it was nice and white when we had it
yeah................I got in.........i need this in my life right now...to help me understand all sorts of goings on.... to no computer for me the weekend of may 16th.... i will be with some awesome chicks and i can't WAIT!

what an awesome weekend it has been....didn't start off too hot...friday..NOT GOOD at all...won't EVEN start into that though..happy thoughts..positive thoughts....happy thoughts.... anywho..i do have to tell you THIS pure ASHLI WOLF original story...so when I closed up the chic shoppe i had SOOOOOOOOOOOO much stuff..i had to get TWO mini warehouses (one i already had) to put it all in.........so i had 186 so thinking it would be easier..i chose 168 so we filled BOTH of those babiez and then went back and cleaned out one and condensed...ok pretty smart right...well, not really because i switched the keys and locks out....so i wasn't able to get into my mini this weekend...i was almost breaking the key off in the lock until i realized WHAT i had done..oMG! hilarious..afterwards...went to lunch with ONE awesome grandmama and my fun fam... and YEAH..guess what else...it was the Webkinz extravaganza or something fun like that......so of COURSE we are the proud new owners of two new webkinz...princess ashlin and ryan the LION cute name...that was ALL kaney...thanks grandmama for a yummy dinner and the new additions

ok........so then we went to the zoo..for a train ride because APPARENTLY the zoo doesn't think that they need to let people in after 4:30..oh MAN..were we sad! we did get to ride the train though...it was a bit pressing because RIGHT before we heard the ALL ABOARD..hunter decided "she had to go the the bathwomb" oh my GOSH..........i was like NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! ( i should have though..what would kate goslin do....but i didn't i straight freaked OUT) so we exited the train...me, my daughter about to wee wee wee all the way home.and kane SCREAMING at the top of the lungs...YOU MEAN MOMMY...YOU WON"T LET ME WIDE THE TWAIN........ oh didn't I look like mother of the year... after almost going to fisticuffs with the zoo lady who wouldn't let hunt use their bathroom because they were closing GRR...we CHUGGED across the parking lot to the LOVELY and oh so CLEAN park potties...RAN back to get on the train in time to hear the WHISTLE..yes, WE MADE it! The glares from the fellow train riders after dragging my kids off were turned into smiles as they saw us sprinting across the park..not such a bad mommy after all...so HA!

no germanfest for us this year..gotta LOVE that texas weather..it was FREEZING today...but we did get to meet up with my grandpa's brothers...they started Longhorn Barbecue in Spokane Washington...pretty neat old coots! I love those guys...i wish that my grandpa was alive to see them and how they LOVE my kids...it is soo cute! We all ate at the center..yum...i had to make up for not going to the fest...so i had a huge platter of sausage, german potato salad..and kraut!YUM...don't worry..i watched my portions...i only had 1/3 of it........

ok..........so after we got home..magic elves came to our house and whipped it into shape it DID help that kaney fell asleep with ryan the lion and slept through the windstorm of domestic craziness...so the house is clean spic & span...and then that gave me some FUN time to make some goodiez...i got some graduation invitations done WOHOO...and i made a FUN little hybrid project using krystal hartley goodiez available at the potato bar http://www.polkadotpotato.com/ YUM! and oh my gosh..i am working on a super surprise for someone VERY special..more about that after i am done though..it is SUPER cuTe! i love IT!

me and kaney at hunny's birthday party..i love his beautiful eyes..he is a charmer...

her little report turned out so cute..if only i would have turned them around..ugh...anywho..look at her sweet little handwriting...i am a dork..i know...but i loved it!
oh yes, this is HOW he sleeps..no matter WHERE he is...my bed, his bed, couch..whatev...i wake up with him in my bed and a foot in my ribs...........OUCH! pray for NO "funder" because that is when he comes a runnin' to our room...enter painful sleep for me...
invites anyone...............they turned out pretty sweet...........LOVE them!

i am SOOOOOOOOOOOOO on cloud nine...could THursdays GET any better....lost AND grey's ahh..life is GOOD! so girls...i DID it..i got my invitation order (the biggie) done..they turned out so precious..the bride miss shawna LOVED them.........ahh..a happy bride..YEAH! i love her..she is SUCH fun to work with..and she LOVES my crazy kids...speaking of...kids...we had a book fair this week at school..buy one get one free..that ROCKS...so we got a PIRATE abc book (betcha can't guess who picked that one) and some crazy strawberry shortcake book..betcha can't guess who picked that one.........

miss hunt and i worked feverishly on yet another project...a ZOO REPORT on flamingos..when she was little she called them flabingos...ahh..i miss that! anywho...i printed off the pictures of the crazy lookin' pink birds...and in TRUE ASHLI WOLF style..i forgot them on my desk at school..so i had to DRAW a flamingo for her..oh my gosh...not sure how this turned out..but she a great colorer so hopefully..she covered up my ratty drawings...anyways..if you want to know ANYTHING about flamingos..just ask me and huntgirl...we are pretty much Flamingo afficionados (i spell VERY phonetically)

biggest loser update..ANOTHER pound this week...............WOHOO! i hope that i WIN..that money would be HOT! speaking of hot..that tanning bed that i was in..oh my gosh...BURN BABY BURN...lookin' forward to the weekend..........WOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOo germanFesT! can't wait..gone however are the days of reckless abandonment and stocking up on beer tickets and souveineir (spelling badly again) germanfest "china"...yes, we have moved on from those wILd child days and on to riding the rides (who even KNEW they had rides?) and family fUn! can't wait to eat sausage on a stick...funnel cakes...and do the CHICKEN DANCE..for those of you who have NO idea what i am rambling about...the germanfest rocks...a weekend of german faire in a little town west of us...usually we get blown away with torrential DOWNpoUrs...and gale force winds...one year, they booted us out on a Sunday because of a tornado blowing through the town in the next county..LOVE THAT! i will post LOTS of pics...we love acting the fool and taking lots of fabulous pictures :)

weekend craziness

well hello....this weekend was birthday extravaganza...we got to go the the WIggly Play Center..for Reece Tate's 4th birthday party..it was too fun! My kids LOVED it...they had a blast! Kane finally warmed up to the really TALL slide..and of course..i forgot HUnter's socks..and remembered mine..so had to give hers mine..and blah blah blah..anyways..when it came time to RESCUE my frazzled little 3 year old at the very top..i had to send in reinforcements

afterwards...we went out to eat with jaime and c-bear...la hacienda..YUM! hello tableside guacamole........holy COW how many WW points was that meal?! i DID drink a diet coke with it though..does that COUNT for anything?!

Thursday night..mom, dad, kevin and I began dismantling miss hunts room...piece by piece and dad cut in as mom and i began rolling on some valentine pink..........first coat..in between VIOLENT storms...second coat FRIDAY....final touches...Saturday....we worked FOREVER on that room...........but OH my GOSh..was it WORTH it or WHAT! We blindfolded hunt and had her come in....mom and i watch just a TEENSY bit too much HGTV...the room alone only two cans of paint.......pretty HOT..we had the rest! WOHOO! We have decided to start it as a business this whole designing thing...........we have decided that our fee is $850,000...and you have to buy the supplies...........so feel free to call...

hunt's birthday *family* party was today.......oh my gosh.............it was soo nice! small crowd, good food..and lots of laughs! Great that everyone enjoyed theirselves so much! i TOTALLY would have loved for someone to have caught some FOOTAGE of my cleaning FRENZY today... it was UNREAL! i was flying back and forth, room to room..cleaning here and there.......and then in the end just heaving all teh leftover JUNK in the laundry room! after the party..i was ExHaUsTed....so i crashed on the couch on top of my clean laundry! NICE! My husband woke me up to show me that Walk the Line was on.............LOVE THAT moVIe!

busy week.............big wedding invite order to finish up on...getting close to putting them together :) YEAH! lots of happenings at school..........and GRey's AnaTomY returns...HOLLA! Oh..and i am going to be taking my sis in law's preggo photos..i can't WAIT..b/c i finally got photoshop elements 6.................staples had it on sale...wohoo...another thing that they had on sale was a laptop bag..and since my trusty TLC bag BROKE with my computer IN IT..i decided on a pleather doozie..that was only $5.50........................oh yes, it is not SHABBY at all either! love it!

*****6 years ago today..i would be holding and gazing at my beautiful baby girl in total AWE**** Kevin and i CaN'T believe that SHE is already six....her birthday was a fun day though...lots of love for that precious little chicka...and of course for kaney walter too...........what a doll he is! i so need to post some pics*******************************kev and i are SOOO bleSSed!******

ok friends...well, i have been a teeny bit busy....just WORKING away with the FABULOUS kits from the talented miss KRYSTAL HARTLEY for our digital design team's latest releases...taking care of my precious and SICK EVERY TIME THE WIND CHANGES two children.....dealing with the love hate hate relationship i have with TLC...might i add..i am no longer an advisor..not sure what i actually am.....taking ALL the pillows off ALL the beds in the house and couches and throwing them in the hallway EVERY time a storm blows up because they have ALL had tornadoes in them it seems...just lucky for us..none have dropped out of the sky!! YEAH!

Since the last time i have chatted it up with y'all....i have also decided to join our church choir..which ROCKs..it is known as ONE VOICE..i am excited about it ..seriously these people BRING it...8:15 mass is packed now because they are GReAT...i am going to hang back and not bust out any crazy tunes JUST yet...but...you can bet that everyone will hear me belting it out :) and it will make my grandmama so proud...so that is one main reason i will do it :) see..i am a nice lil' girl...

ok.................back to more of what's up...............i have a NEW beSt FrIEnD....jon and kate and their 8 kids..they don't know it but i am their BIGGEST fan...seriously probably not..but when i am cleaning (RARELY) or doing laundry (even MORE RARE) i am like oh my GOSH....how does that woman DO IT...........i wish that she had a blog because she sTrAiGhT cracks me UP! i LOVE them....he is hilarious..the looks he gives her when she gives him the bizness...just MAKES me hoWL...they are amazing...i hope that show is on forever..i am QUITE attached to those kids!

speaking of being attached to kids.............OMy....i can't beliEVe that my preschool only has a month 1/2 left together..........we are ROCKING out some awesome art projects..today we did mosaic umbrellas..you can imagine how well that went with the ripping and mass quantities of GLUE that those little darlings used............omY! we are making the flowers for the whole april showers/may flowers saying...we are excited...and are going to fingerpaint with them on the flowers..note to self...wear nothing fabulous tomrorow...

i am doing weight watchers as many of you might know..and it is going great....bumped down a whole SIZE...........hOLLa~! this whole counting points is sooo totally workin'! wohoo!

Ok.......this is going to SOUND totally crazy......but ALL (yes ALL) of this stuff happened this week.... I am just going to list it...it will be easier....

sunday...ate at babe's yum...fixed up booth in muenster...nothing crazy...

monday...drama...believe me..pure drama

tuesday..kaney was sick...YUCK!

wednesday...taxes (need i EVEN say anything more) ok..yes, I do say more because it was our weigh in for the BIggESt LoSer at school.......lost 1 lb.......grrrrrrrrrrr

thursday...oh great..this is when it starts getting juicy...

Texas Day..woke up EXTRA early to get to STARBUCKS who so very

graciously donated sleeves so we could make our FAbUlOus armadillos

(pic coming soon!!!) and guess WHAT...my car won't start....I think that right now it is also very important to let you know my kids and my attire....(mind you we DID not wach the weather) kane...sweatshirt..tennies...jeans (no coat) Hunter...sweatshirt...pants...coat (thank GOD) tennies....ME (lovely) short sleeve texas tee...khaki pants....OPEN TOED leopard shoes...denim jacket......my steering wheel WON"T budge..so I call my daddy..long story short..he and the neighbor man can't get it to work...so I am going to call the Ford House after Texas Day....don't get to go to Starbucks to get sleeves for armadillos because my daddy has to take me and my kids to work and babysitters........grrrrrrrrrr

Thursday (mid morning) sleeves arrive for the armadillos....a ROOM MOTHER saves the day! We are in the midst of Texas Day in the gym racing our CUTE horses and I hear rain...but it is sounding more like SHARP pieces of ice..rather than rain...I am thinking to myself..what on EARTH is that......

Thursday (noon) the blizzard begins......(ok..so that is a little over the top...it didn't actually start getting TOO terrible just yet) I am like..what is that SNOW?! I am THEN informed that we are supposed to get 4inches of the white stuff...we LAUGH because it was 60 degrees the day before

Thursday (noon-thirty) BLIZZARD BEGINS....naptime for 3 year olds....fun everyday..this day ESPECIALLY FUN!!! they finally go to sleep after doing snow dances (cute) mind you there are 16 three and four year olds..you can ONLY imagine :)

Thursday (noon forty-five) reading enrichment classes begin and I start making my rounds..only to see that the snow is REaLLy sticking...interesting..how can this be...the kids begin to get WILDER...because it is really snowing and blowing out there...

Thursday (noon fifty-five) I get a call from my teacher friend across town saying that they are dismissing early...at 1:30...run DON'T walk to office and inform them...they are already on it

Thurday (one"ish) announced that school will be closing in thirty minutes...have to go back into classroom and WAKE UP sleeping three and four year olds......LOVELY! start calling parents to come and pick up kids (by the way..it is now getting VERY bad outside)

Thursday (one fifteen "ish") I realize that I don't have a car at school...panic mode begins...call babysitter to bring son/and pick up her grandson ( a little trade off) in the mean time we are dismissing kids....in the SNOW...and it is TOTALLY FREEZING *remember the open toed shoes...bRRRRRRRR) ...the kids are TOTALLY wild and I am in PANIC mode..thinking that I may have to walk home :( call mom...she has no ride..she is waiting on my daddy to come and get her...think I will wait for her at my school...BAD IDEA!

Thurdsday (one forty-five ish) finally realize that I am stuck if I don't leave THEN..finally had KANE run after a friends mom and beg a ride (she just lives down the street...thank goodness)

leave school....takes 45 minutes to get home...it usually takes us 3 FLAT!

Friday...car STILL won't work......grrr...school starts late at 9am....tv stops working

mechanic comes to my house.can't fix it by beating on it with a rubber mallet....has to be towed....have extended warranty..dancing a gig...until i realize that it is 3/7/08 and it went ON 3/3/08...dreams shattered......tears commence

have to go and get kevin...pile kidsin truck...go get TUNA sandwiches at the HIPPO *YUM* get home and decide to go to blockbuster...have gift card...send kevin with STRICT instructions to NOT get something TERRIBLY ridiculous...like Patton and expect me to watch it...kevin comes home..gift card not working.....two DUMB dvds later (and oh YES he did rent patton) he finally unveils another bag with American Gangster in it....good movie..but YIKES!

so here i sit pondering about my week..and all the OTHER things that happened that I didn't even list......and I still smile....pretty unBeLieVaBLe huh!?

oh my gosh....what have y'all been up to!? well, we have been cleaning cleaning cleaning around here....it is looking pretty nice....laundry is taken care of..imagine that...

not much has happened since I last visited with y'all....let's see...it has been a LONG time, but the time is just flying by...back to teaching full time and actually taking care of my housework...so that is a nice change :)

my new quest is WEIghT waTcHeRz.....I am only supposed to have 20 points...and pretty much for the first two weeks..we were in MAJOR starvation mode....but now, I am thinking that I might have it all figured out :) the hardest thing was NO dr. Peppers.......ahhh man....I also had to cut out starbucks...( sob sob sob)..so basically, I eat cottage cheese/peaches for lunch....then eat some kind of fruit...no snacks..and a nice dinner.......or maybe one of those smart ones...I have been limiting myself to just under 20 points...but on Valentine's Day..I TOTALLY blew it...hello cupcakes and cookies....I will have to say that I used up my flex points with a vengance! NOT GOOD! but...anyways...I think that it will work..I have done it before..and lost weight..so hopefully I can do it this time TOO! I am doing it with my team teacher, Sherry...she is a ROCK an keeps me on task :) love HER!

Valentine's Day was lovely....the kids were SO cute...I made their valentine's cards...they turned out pretty sweet....that was them at the top... :) I had fun making them as you can see :)

kevin got me a starbucks gift card...HELLO....don't you WANT me to lose weight?! I was like GREAT..I will have hot water :)..how many points is that?! It was too sweet of him though...the last thing for Valentine's day he got me was rose bushes about 8 years ago...so we are back in the saddle this year..haha

let's see...oh we had Dynamite Dad's Day at school a couple of weeks ago...it was Precious..the daddies LOVED it...I added some pics of it :) My kids gave their daddies bbq sauce...check out the CUTE labels..that was FUN! I added a CUTE picture of hunny and daddy...so sweet!

so basically that's it..>i will HOPEFULLY be adding some pictures of some new projeCts that I have underway..........BIG PLANS for my new CRAfT RoOm too....just say a Special Prayer that i get my way........ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh...

oh my gosh....I am TOTALLY lovING not having the store.......ahhhh...it is SOO nice..I miss everyone...buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut.....oh my gosh...those saturdays at home..ROCK! TOTALLY..I mean...I am LOVING a&e's morning lineup...2 hours of sell this house 2 hours of flip this house LOVE it! I spread out ALL of my done laundry and fold it on the den floor and sort and fold the laundry for the WHOLE morning... oh my GOSH...this is LOVE!

oh good grief..i won't EVEN get into the week that i have had...just please know that my mind was 10million miles away from digi scrappin'....so much has happened....lots of sad stuff..I know that y'all don't know my family...but just please say a special prayer for my cousin Jason...he is going through a really rough time..so are his parents...they are all very special to me and are in need of some prayers...thanks!

on a MUCH lighter note..kaney's birthday ROCKED....I didn't get the invites (yes, the precious ones that y'all have already seen) mailed out..my mind was playing tricks on me..by not working...all of this craziness started on the eve of my birthday...and my week just was totally shot from there...........I procrastinated SO much (shock) that even i am amazed that I could TOTALLY pull of Kaney's birthday party...it was QUITE a success..kev cooked up some scrumptious DOVE and DUCK..yum..the cake was delicious and AWESOME and most of all Kane was the KING for the DAY! He had a BLAST...and I think that everyone else did too..even if i did have to call and invite people instead of sending out invites :)

ok...i know i know..it is cute..but I can't POSSIBLY take the credit...who you may ask though...I have NO CLUE....I can't remember where I was when I saw it..but I LOVE IT! OH my gosh...I can't explain the CRAZY fun we had this weekend at LeRetreat....10 of us scrappin' girls got SO much DONE and had SO MUCH FUN! i am serious..there was some SERIOUS scrappin' going on this weekend! We ate, drank...and were very MERRY! WhAT FuN! My cheeks STILL hurt from laughing..those girls are HiLaRiOuS!

ok...so what DID i do with all my time you ask?! well, LOTS....krystal unveiled some new goodiez...but there was no wireless connection...so I had to use my goodiez that I already had...but that was fabulous with...believe me..I had MORE than enough! I will have to say that it was SOOO fun just having my work area so nice and neat...just a laptop and my picture cds...pretty awesome...gave me plenty of room for delectable treats and winearittas...OH MY GOSH..those ROCK!

hunter is SUCH a fun lil' chick...she has always been an active part of my chaos..from fringey flipflops...handpainted stuff.....and now SCRAPBOOKING...she LOVES it...and it's tons of fun seeing what she might create...she used to hang with the chic chicks until the wee hours of the morn at the chic shoppe..usually outlasting us all...this year she asked for some scrapbooking stuff...and santa claus and nana claus really came through..even the uncles kicked in a cute lil tote loaded down (i'll bet they picked that out ALL on their OWN!)

Tomorrow is the day.........WOHOOOOOOO..LeRetreat..here we come.........I can't wait! I will have to buzz back home and post my LOAD challenge entry..never fear :) kidding

tomorrow is also kaney's third birthday...so HAPPY BIRTHDAY KANE!!! I love that lil' man so much TOO...he helps huntergirl and I by throwing away our scraps...he always makes sure that he asks..momma is this little enough to go in the trash...gotta love a kid that knows his SCRAP!

Well hello friends...how are ya..well, we managed to almost ALMOST alMoST get the store all taken care of........YEAH HOORAY! We worked our tails off...wouldn't that be funny..if I did lose weight from this..that would ROCK!

ok.........so news.....hmmmmmmmmmm...what do I have to tell y'all..hmmmmmmmmmmmm...not much really.I have soooooooooooo much JUNK I had to get a mini warehouse..:) It was a hoot...we put my big "W" on the front of my warehouse..since I am probably going to be living out of it..kevn is NOT to jazzed about the ENORMOUS amount of JUNK we have in the garage...so we decided just to go and get a storage building...YEAH! My friend Jaime and her sis Gina helped out SOO much today..we made several trips and will be at it again TOMORROW...for as much work as we did we had a BLAST..we laughed ALL day long! We even had to go dumpster diving after something that we shouldn't have thrown away and had to dig back out....it was HILARIOUS...

miss hunter wolf did an AMAZING job helping today!!! She began to scrape the name off the window..(such a CUTE window) she only got the S off...and it was gettin' dark..so for now..the name of my store is chic & crappi.......NICE..I will be up there at DAWN scrapin' that off...

AHHH..yes, I did yet another one..I am SOOO excited..this is such fun...what an awesome day..I went to school and got to see my 16 three year olds that I have missed terribly over the holidays...and all my friends at school....then I got to visit with some of my chic friends at the chic shoppe and almost got it polished and DONE...Georgia made chicken and dumplins and peach cobbler (what DID i do to deserve that one)....came home to do homework (new year's resolutions for my kindergartner...)..put my wolflets to bed and then got to create this..i was wondering....hmm..what can I do......and then...guess what appeared...a NEW Krystal Hartley KIT..oh my gosh..get a load of that OWL....LOVE IT...had to play off of that..hope you like what i have done...no pictures of the outside of our little mansion (all 1511 sq.ft of it) too cold..like -20 out there (not really..drama mama) but I added some fun pics of our lil' home..have a fabulous night! OH MY GOSH...and guess what..............less than 7 days till my SCRAPBOOK RETREAT with the girlz...I couldn't be MORE exciTeD! It is going to be a HOOT...love that pun! :)

Hello friends...well, an update...I have ALMOST got it all ready to be moved...kevin came and loaded up the fridge, microwave, and anything else he could get his hands on ....I sold ALL the racks FINALLY...someone might actually be moving down there..someone EXCITING...so the good news is that some of the things CAN stay! WOHOO! I took the cutest picture of my kids in the window of the pink chic shoppe...they were waving to all the people as they drive by..kane was also sporting his extra cute LADIES MAN tee..precious!

Ok......so I did it...two layouts thus far in the contest...can I make it?! Who knows..but I am going to try.......so here it is.........for my girls...breigh and jaime..the two coolest chickas I know...I love these girls..thus..I made a layout of them.....

Ok...yes, friends...I find scrapbooking to be SOOTHING and RELAXING..therefore..I pounced on the opp. to do a layout EVERYDAY in a contest on www.bigpicturescrapbooking.com some of you out there are thinking..hey girl..have you LOST IT?! I am WELL aware of the fact that i have a store full of goods still..and I am working very hard on getting all that chic stuff moved out...but I decided to focus on ME for at least a little while and do this contest..will I finish...probably not...but I did a bang up job on my first one..what do ya think?! I am kidding...and YES, that is the ONLY picture that i have of US...that is why you see it in EVERY picture..I hope that this MIGHT be the last time you see it

ps............I moved some goodiez over to MUeNsTeR..I have a chic lil' nook in there now...there is TONS more than there was..and there is more that is going...

ok......seriously..if I could tell y'all how CRAZY this whole thing has gone....you probably wouldn't believe it...but I am going to try...so........afterall the hype..the store didn't sell, the girls decided that it would take them away from family...boy do I know that it is the truth...so I can't at all blame them....so.......I had another buyer....and that didn't pan out either....so I was scrambling on the last day of November trying to figure out what to do....Kevin and I decided that we could do it one more month....and sell everything out by the end of the year.....so I decorated the front for Christmas (a very CHIC Christmas) and put a sign on the front saying...re-opening Tuesday...and I did.....but that was the only day that I was able to open this week because I was able to start back on my full-time (half pre-school and half reading specialist) job back at the school....hmmmmmmmmmm....so....I will be open on THIS SATURDAY and NEXT SATURDAY and then that is it....I am to be out by the 17th...I figured it would be easier that way...we are then moving to a CHIC lil' BOutiqUe in MueNsTeR...GirLFriEnDZ BouTiQue...it is such a cute lil' shoppe..and the girlz are extra SWeEt! I will be adding some new goodiez after the first of the year....I also have some exTra Cool GoodieZ that I will be moving from my stash (and some of you girlz KNOW about my STASH too) and of course the handpainted goodiez will be moving west TOO! Hey friends....well, I hope that all of y'all had an AMAZING Thanksgiving! We had a BLAST!!! Everything was SUPER yummy....I ate a TON....I ate so much that I had NO room for dessert...how is THAT possible!?! It was FREEZING....but that by NO means of the imagination meant that KEVIN was going to get out of our annual family photo....we did them in front of my mother & father in law's tree....ahhh...they are sooo LOVELY! Kevin and Kane weren't participating...imagine that!!!

Ok..so store news..no real news yet..the girls are still interested..I am sending them all the books and good stuff like that tonight...so hopefully if everything goes well, they will be opening SUPER soon!

Miss Pat's Christmas Card Class is going to still be on Wednesday from 6-8...at the chic shoppe!!! YEAH! It will be fun....Hopefully..I can get momma to make some apple cider...YUM! The class on Saturday is still on toO!

so..........I better buzz....I have been super buSy..with lotS of Goodiez....plans a plenty! OMG..picked up a CRICUT for DIRT CHEAP on Black Friday....$119...are you KIDDING me?! Hey girls...well, thanks so much for a fabulous week last week! I enjoyed seeing all of you and getting your sweet emails....well, let me start by saying that last week was just very rough...let me tell ya...I didn't want to see the chic lil' shoppe close...but my doctor said that something had to go....so after some soul searching....I decided that it would be the shoppe instead of teaching...both things that I totally LOVE and am committed to...but in the end..it was teaching that I would choose...thinking that I could do everything else out of my home and then other windows began to open..people are so AWESOME and helpful....so my out of bizness sale commenced and ran through the week....and sales were great...that was fabulous! Thursday, I started to get that yucky cough..you know that one that sounds more like a barking rotweiller and not a cough....Friday it got worse..I felt terrible....I think that the culmination between me being so sick that I could barely breath and me closing the store made Friday one of the worst days of my life....I was sad...I cover it well though :) so....when Saturday came I woke up and looked in the mirror..pretty rested after having gone to bed at 7pm the night before..and thought to myself....today is the 6th anniversary of burying one of my very favorite persons, my PaPa Tom...and not today I am burying my store...ugh.....it was going to be a hard day..I could already tell, but something in me made me say...get over it ash...get your makeup on and get your butt down to that store..so I did....welllllllllllllllll...boy am I glad that I did!

One of my first customers was a CHIC lil' shopper/customer/class goer who was very sad about the store closing..she and I chatted and she bought lots of goodiez and said that her friend would be in later....and sure enough....her fabulous friend and her "faBuLoUs" lil' girl strolled in...after looking around this friend of mine asked why I was closing and I told her...and she then DROPPED THE BOMB ON ME and said...well, would you like to sell it?! I couldn't breathe let alone speak...I was SHOCKED and EXCITED and FLABERGHASTED! We chatted it up about the deal, then she left and went to a football game starring her awesome son...talked it over in the stands with her hubby, and her friend that had visited the store and they were game, she called me and we got the ball rolling....so it is ROLLING....

These girls are JUST SUPER!!! THey are very VERY creative...lots of the BOO BOOK ideas were that of those CHIC CHICKS..you think mine was cute..you SHOULD see THEiR'S! WOW! Ok...so they are really planning on opening before Christmas with lots of NEW gooDieZ...I am helping them with a totally SUPERB order guaranteed to knock your socks off! I will also still be able to keep my handpainted stuff in the store along with the invites....I think that the store is keeping the same name..so excited about that! The hours are going to extend! YEAH! Crops will increase :) yeah! These girls are going to do it up RIGHT..I PROMISE!

So I am SooOOOO excited for all of you at the same time..because I really think that a scrapbook store in Gainesville will work with different hours and lots of great new product! We were able to clear out a TON of paper and embellishments..so that is a great START for these girlz! I will fill y'all in with more details as I get em! Girlz....y'all are SERIouSLy amazing!!! The sales today were SOOO super for the little chic shoppe! YEAH! THANKS for another GREAT day! Yes, girlz..it is SAD, but true...I really AM closing the shoppe...I know that some of you think that I am moving down the street...but I am not..those letters on that pink sign across from Sonic were not made by me...sorry to dissapoint (hey..i teach k3...I can't spell the big words :) they are pretty cute though...just not swirly enough to be my handwriting....

well well well, today was AMAZING..thanks so much to you galz that hauled off some chic goodiez...and I do stress HAULED in some cases...

thanks sOOOOOOOOOOOOO much for all of your sweet emails and comments! I appreciate your support and your friendship is TRULY awesome! What a neat bunch of chicks! I was ALSO SOOOOOOOOO Super excited to get LOTS of cross and frame orders today...YeAH! I also got some invitation orders TOO.........WOHOO!!!

Remember..that handpainted/altered goodiez, custom scrapbooks, digi razzle dazzle and invitations and LOTS MORE (haha evil laugh) will be offered....STAY TUNED for more chic bits of info!

Just to clear up a few things......I am SOOOOOOOOOOOO sorry to report...the BEauTiFuL ribbon hutch of Mrs. Hertel's is not for sale...although I did call her and tell her I was auctioning it off to the highest bidder...she threatened my life and that of my children and husband..so i better NOT sell it........(7 years and 2 c-sections...too much to lose) :) So no ribbon hutch..sorry girlz....The ribbon in it is also still for sale, but at regular price...I know..I am terrible...but I LOVE ME SOME RIBBON!!! A few of the paper racks have been sold...along with several of the spinner racks.... too!!! YEAH! I have a few tables left to sale...LOTS of cabinets...hmmmmm... some spinning chairs... and let's see what else....oh my gosh...TONS...Oh..I have the GREATEST shagadelic grooviest green couch.......it is SOOOO cute..please give it a nice home........seriously PRECIOUS....love it..it just needs some leopard pillows MEYOW.... NO ROOM for it at my house......BELIEVE ME! rats!

Yes, my chic friendz....it is with MUCH sadness that I must send you this email....The Chic Shoppe is closing its doors. I have tried very hard to keep it open...but it is time...I am super sad that it has come to this! I know that many of you LOVE having a scrapbook store in Gainesville and believe me, so did I! To all of my customers...whether you bought LOTS or a LITTLE..I thank you...each and everyone of you..every LITTLE bit helped..the little pink store gave it its all...but in the end...the big guy wins...now...I can't be like the other scrapbook stores that have recently gone out of businezz slamming my customers that have taken advantage of their 40% joann's coupons...weekly HOBBY LOBBY specials....and Michael's store specials...I don't blame you...YOU WORK HARD FOR YOUR MONEY and every penny counts....these days...believe me...I know! However, most of you just don't have the extra funds to put on scrapbooking...flooding, HORRIBLE economy..shakey jobs...and believe me I KNOW all about those too! With that said, I am not selling the store to anyone...just selling almost everything in it!

Now I will be going back to Raizin' Kane for my handpainted goodiez and the Chic Invitez & Custom Scrapbookz will still continue to be sold..just out of my CHIC HOME (it's not pink...deer heads might not look too great on that color) and on my website...which might I add is about to get an EXTREME makEoVeR! So...the frames, crosses, letterz, signs, invitez, altered goodiez...and custom scrapbookz and anything else it is that you have me do for ya (and I LOVE) are just moving across the trackzzz.....actually some of it will be sold at some different stores around town...I am excited about that and after that all is nailed down..I will letcha in! I am also HOPING to start a scrapbooking website...for the basics (ya know...spray glitter, adhesives, etc.) and fun STUFF I know that you will ALL love...who knows..maybe EVEN a kit club with all the YUMMIES that I never had in my STORE only drooled over...more to follow about that too! ANd.........the DIGITAL design team that I am on is going AWESOME...it is sooo much fun working for such an AMAZING chickie like Krystal! My font..splash of ash...is being worked on and will be a DIGITAL alphabet/font available for purchase SOON....which I am SUPER excited about...I will let yall know about that! Oh and Christmas cardz....yes, I am still doing those too...got LOTS of orderz already....and no one has seen the templates just yet..believe me Q..UTE! Y'all know me....I won't be down and out...don't you FRET! All orderz are still going to be filled...(handpainted/altered/scrapbooked).. and taken...via phone/email/website...

so.......oh yes, back to the sale................my garage isn't that big of a place..and I am LOVING being able to park in there again...........so please PLEaSe PLEASE help me get rid of all this WOnDeRfUL merchandise! There is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much paper in this store..and it's GOTTA GO..

Classes that are upcoming...no problem...we are still going to have them....just at my house...there is PLENTY of room in my den/dining room for y'all chic girlz to learn from the best! Miss Pat also added an extra class for CHIC CARDz for the 1st of December...can't remember the time...but I will post it on my BLOG!!! Oh...and there are SUCH cool places in this town that you can SCRAP....LeRetreat and Miss Olivia's will be a fun place where we can maybe have some future CROPS!!! Hey girlz...just thought that I would pass a bit of sad news on....Tiffany's Nanny has passed away. She will not be there tomorrow (wednesday and Thursday is up in the air too)...Please pray for she and her family in their time of sorrow. THANKS!

Surgery newz...............I made it through the surgery...poor Dr. K was soo behind..the surgery was scheduled for 10:30 and I didn't get in until 5:30...gotta LOVE those emergency c-sections...but the cool thing was one of them was one my friends...she and her husband adopted a little boy from Russia thinking that they couldn't ever get PG...well, looks like they did because she delievered a BEauTifuL baby girl yesterday morning! YEAH! Anywho..the surgery (mine) was a total success...Dr. K got in there and got everything she was after..the cyst was the size of a baseball.WOW! I have three incisions and the surgery lasted about 2 hours...My MOm was a TOTAL trooper..she stayed the WHOLE day and wouldn't eat either b/c I couldn't...I came out of surgery HUNGRY as a BEAR...well, that proved to be a disaster..because OBVIOUSLY my body DIDn'T like the food/anethesia/pain meds/stress combo...and I LOST EVERYTHING for about 8 hours.......NICE! I got to stay in Hotel la NTMC for a night..it was FUN..let me tell ya..between getting sick every 10 minutes and crying from the pain...It was a LOVELY getaway! Now...I am all better...got dismissed about 5pm....and had dinner ready for me...my sweet daughter, her best friend and my team teacher Sherry..made mini pizzas and muffins for us..my mom made a cowboy stew and a cake..we are TOTALLY spoiled..my nanny is bringing us food tomorrow...and some more of our friends are bringing supper on Thursday! WOOHOO! Apparently being fileted like a fish has it's perks!

So girlz...we are thinking that the store is going to reopen on Friday afternoon...we HOPE! Don't forget the Sell-O-Rama....it is set for Friday and Saturday at the Civic Center...lots of FAbuLoUs FiNdS!

Hey friends...it's ash...well, tomorrow is the BIG DAY....my surgery starts at 10:30..should be a pretty easy deal...but I won't be at the chic shoppe this week....so Miss Tiff will be holding down the fort! Due to the FABULOUS response to the sale last week...we will be having it aGaIN! So while the cats away.......there will be a CHIC SALE! so..........all the single sided patterned paper will be 10 for $5 WOHOO!!! This includes EVERYTHING that is one sided...there is some SERIOULSY precious stuff in this CHIC SHOPPE that you won't want to miss!

Also, if you are going to be needing anything handpainted or altered..please let us know..we would LOVE to do that for ya...but things get craZy around the holidays so we would love to get those in the works for ya!..ahh...yes, it is ALREADY that time again..can you BELIEVE it! The Christmas cards that we are doing..are SOOOO precious...look for those HOPEFULLY to be unleashed at the end of the week..I will be WORKING on them while I am "recovering" I need a day after today to recover beFORe my surgery...I think that I have cleaned EVERYspot in my HOUSE....and have done about 18 loads of laundry...my poor laundry room is just plum tuckered out right now! Also the medicine that I was given to CALM me down....made me TOTALLY crAzy..complete with crying fits and frantic"ness" and that is SOOOOOOOO not me! ahh...all in a days work, right?!

So..........I hope that Tiff will be seeing you this week! Okay Ladies, this is Tiff (on my FIRST blog -- YeAh!!) . . . let's have a heart to heart talk . . . I would like to share some things with you...and hopefully you'll share back.

When I decided to go into business with Ashli I put a lot of thought into what I could add to the PINK store. Ashli & I have brainstormed together & are working HaRd on the CROP ROOM. ORGANIZATION was my first goal & now that I have Ashli organized (well, on her way:) I want to hear from you. One of my favorite things is all the Fantastic CHIC Ladies that come through our doors! So, I would like to know what you WANT? Here's a list of questions: Please read all the way to the end of the post for instructions

What is most interesting to you, Crop or Class? Would you like more KIDDIE Classes? Do you prefer Classes Weekdays, Weeknights, or Weekends? -- Specify Adult class or Kid class (Please feel free to be specific - Tuesday at 5pm) What types of classes are your favorites? Techniques, layouts, mini books, calendars, projects, etc. Crops mixed with make and takes or just leave me alone and let me CROP?

Lastly, WHEN would YOU like for our store to be open? -- Now that there are 2 of us we are considering/planning new store hours. Currently we are CLOSED Sun & Mon, Open 12:30-5:30 Tue-Fri & Sat 10am-3pm I can't wait to hear from you! Please feel free to add any comments or suggestions in other aspects of Chic & Scrappi. Chic classes are listed on the side...TOMORROW IS THE BIG DAY...I am SOO excited and I KNOW that Miss Krystal is TOO....her designs are going to be unveiled on POLKA DOT POTATO....the Creative Ensemble Members have been working on fun STUFF to help BOOST sales...tomorrow..I will add on here what I designed to show the world that digital scrapbooking is NOT just for the books....It was sUpEr fuN making it!

Well chic chickas.....I have a confession to make...I am a Krystal Hartley junkie...her stuff ROCKS..I LOVE it ALL...and I am a bit of a stalker..and APPARENTLY this erratic behavior of mine..has earned me a spot on her CREAtIvE EnSemBle TeaM....WOHOO!!! What does this mean?! Well, Miss Krystal is as you know a digital designing DIVA and makes JUST beautiful stuff...YUMMY STUFF...so now her designs will be available for sale on sites like Digitals and Polka Dot Potato....so OUR job as a Creative Ensemble Member is to create designs to Sale Her Goodiez....now..as you know I am a PAPER GIRL....BUTTTTTTTTTTTT there is SOOO much you can do with the DIgI goodiez if you take them off of your PaGe! I can't wait to show you ALL the possiblities...we will also be working with her and giving her IDeAs for FabUlOuS designs...I am SOO excited! YEAH!

The Croptober was A HUGE success...Depot Days had downtown Gainesville HOPpInG! Kelli Kay's The Prissy Princess outside of the Chic SHoppe did FanTasTic..with her bows, tutus and blinged out tennies....SOOO precious! We had some Fabulous chickies stroll through the chic shoppe for the first time...so we hope that they will be back SUPER soon! Poor Tiff missed out on all the fun/chaos...she and her hubby took the kids to the coast this past week...so the CHIC momma..sandra and I held down the fort...the chic chicks in the back enjoyed a day of croppin' and shoppin...and EATING..good grief...did we put the food away! Edelweiss and Sarah's on The Square did a SUPER job! YUM! thanks girls for making it SUCH a fun day!

Lots of ideas were floating around...the crop shack that night ...one of the girlz decided that we need another one of these only this time to do Christmas cards ..all day...bring your stamps and swap ideas and goodies....sip on cider and hot coacoa...so I am NEEDING some ideas of WHEN we might want to do this....is ANYONE interested in a sunday afternoon!? Also...there would be a card swap...bring a card and we will do "dirty santa" swapping and stealing each others' cards until we peel each others eyeballs out...sound FUN!?

Just a reminder....BOO the minibook will be on NEXT tuesday..we had to change it b/c several of you couldn't make the wednesday night one NO PROBLEM...we'll just switcharoo it!...also...sign up for the kids CLAsseS super FasT!!! They are filling up pretty fast! They are going to be SUCH fun...I have added MANY new things to the calendar...we are keeping the room CLEAN (yes CLEAN) for croppers...my painting stuff will be picked up...or at least a little neat so y'all can sprawl out and get some scrappin' done! Also, give me an idea if you are going to want a CHIC KIT...we are about to get to work on that....it is going to be LOADED down with GOODIEZ!!! Can'T Wait to start playing with that! YEAH! I have TONS of ideas and so does Miss Tiff..fresh from the coast...LUCKY!!!!

The response to the CROPTOBER FEST has been AMazInG!!! It is CRAM Packed..not just with CHIC CHICKS..but with Activites and Discounts and FOOD!!! I am Sooo ExCiTeD and I hope that ALL of you are also! YEAH!

ALSO...HOORAY..........Miss Pat has YET another FABULOUS idea for a CLASS...it will DEFINITLEY be something to CHIRP about! BELIEVE mE!!! More details to FOLLOW.... I also want to REMIND you that I will be having a CLASS called BOO on the 24th....If you need me to..I can always move it onto a Tuesday night from 6-8 ...so LET me KNOW!!! :) There is STILL LOTS of room in that class..and it is going to be SUPER cute....lots of BUTTONS, BLING, and SPLASHES of ASH...a very FUN little project!

Well, I said I was going to start these a feW months ago...so here it is OCTOBER...and we are fInaLlY going to do it...KIDS CLASSES..I will be teaching a FUN and EXCITING HALLOWEEN class on SATURDAY, October 27th...we will be making a HoWLingLy PrEcIoUs mini book...the class will be from 10-12 and will be $25 ...this will include everything that they will need for a picture READY mini book...adhesives, buttons, paper, book, EVERYTHING!!! Sign up quick....kids classes fill up SUPER fast!!!!

NExt Month...we are going to start a CONTEST of the MONTH...For November...we want to see WHY YOU ARE sO BLeSsEd...this can be a layout..paper/digital..or an altered project! OH MY GOSH........I just can't tell y'all how EXciTeD I am about the crop coming up THIS SatuRdAy...it is going to be SOOO much fuN! Tiff has been WORKING so hard on the back to get it ready for action!...she has done a SIMPLY amazing job...I am working HARD on orders that I have to paint..so I can be ALL caught up and ready for the ChrIstMas Rush..and a few craft shows that I will be doing! the chic chick crop shack will house 16 croppers...and if we need to add more tables in the back we definitley can...THANKS TO TIFF...she has cleaned...oh my gosh...it is awesome!

First things first...as many of you know...I decided after being alone in the CHIC BIZ for over a year by myself....to get a bizness partner.....her name is Tiffany Scott...SHE ROCKS...totally creative and a VERY ORGANIZED person (WOHOO..the chic shop needs it ) She has done AMAZING things in the back already....The Chic Chick Crop Shack is looking SUPER...we are also doing major work on the very back back for our kids...so they can have a little home away from home when mommy is working! Tiff is such a NEAT chick..I know that y'all are going to LOVE HER! as many of you know....we are LOVING the Digital Software up here at this little chic shop...the quick pages are SOO fun and a book can be created SUPER fast and they turn out JUST PRECIOUS...The Digital Software that we sell up here...LIFETIMEZ (I got it right this time) is being discontinued as of September 30th...they are branching out and going another direction...LIFETIMEZ ONLINE...so with that said...the software will be available for demos and purchase until the 30th of this month...many of you have seen the MAGIC that this program can do...it is AWESOME....IF you are my consultant...I will still offer you support and guidance on the digi software...the software is NOT going to be obselete and is JUST THE COOLEST...I really would LOVE to show you if you haven't seen it yet, the versatility of the program....the books that you can create with it turn out JUST BEAUTIFUL..but that is not all you can do with it....we have made nametags, postcards, birth announcements, calendars, newsletters, recipe cards, etc......the possibilties are ENDLESS....I would LOVE to show you the program if you haven't seen it yet, or if you have seen it and are still on the fence...THIS IS IT...I hate to say it that way, but it is....Top Line has told us that they will continue to support the existing software by creating the weekly downloads..WHICH ROCK available in both quick pages and also in the elements (pieces to create your projects from scratch)

Hello friends...well, I just figured that the chic store might need a blog..just to keep you in the know...as many of you know...school starts back for me in a week and a 1/2.......LIFE IS CRAZY..trying to get my classroom ready and keeping the store looking 1/2 way decent...(hey, I do try :) ...anywho...I thought that this would be an easier way for y'all to here about crop dates, kit releases, TLC news, CHIC CLASSES (oh yes, we have them scheduled until DECEMBER!), digi Divaz demoz...and ANything else that I know that I am forgetting to mention!
